Client-side encryption is rolling out now. While this option is enabled, the downloader currently needs to use the Chrome desktop browser to complete the download until the PhotonFile desktop app becomes available.
If your recipient can't use Chrome, you can disable client encryption before generating the link.
A lightweight desktop client for uploads and downloads is coming soon. It will fully support client-side encryption. This notice and the website, will be updated once it's released.
This feature matters too much to delay. Thank you for your patience as we finalize the full desktop experience.
