Enable detailed transfer tracking

Saves additional transfer metadata for analytics and troubleshooting. Disabled by default.

Store file names

Includes file names in tracked metadata. Only applies when detailed tracking is enabled.

This feature stores original filenames for user-facing accounting purposes only, allowing you to better understand what contributes to your subscription usage.

Filenames are never inspected, analyzed, or used for content moderation.

If you are subject to enhanced online safety or content monitoring regulations in your jurisdiction, you should consider whether enabling this feature is appropriate for your use case.

Tip: If you enable file names, avoid sharing sensitive filenames. Only opt in to what you need.

Resumable transfers

Adds meta checkpointing so interrupted transfers can resume. Slightly increases metadata retained during active transfers.

When enabled, PhotonFile will checkpoint transfer progress so you can resume after a disconnect. This applies to any size file.

Full recovery across interruptions requires a subscription or File Pass. Resume through unstable connections and longer interruptions without losing progress. File Passes enable this automatically for the transfer.
