Enterprise secure file sharing
A good fit for conventional enterprise secure sync, encrypted cloud storage, folder collaboration, and business file-sharing programs.
Photon Vault can replace your cloud drive for the complete file collection while keeping personal files, clients, projects, teams, and family data in independent privacy boundaries. Sync different folders or data sets into different Vaults, then share a Vault without opening up everything else.
A good fit for conventional enterprise secure sync, encrypted cloud storage, folder collaboration, and business file-sharing programs.
Better when personal, client, project, and team files need independent privacy boundaries, deliberate sharing, and per-Vault sync not just more folders in one workspace.
Photon Transfer moves files. Photon Vault keeps them. Vault Intake collects from outsiders, and Vault Sync maps independent Vaults to different local folders or data sets.
The seat-tax problem
Traditional enterprise cloud platforms often scale cost by user. PhotonFile Teams are different: eligible team workspaces run under the team owner's plan. Invite teammates, contractors, or collaborators without turning every additional person into another paid seat. Pro includes 1 team up to 25 members. Studio includes unlimited teams and unlimited members. Members can still use PhotonFile outside the team under their own limits, and team creation is reserved for eligible plans.
Vault access
In PhotonFile, team membership does not automatically open every team Vault. People can collaborate in a shared team context, while access is granted intentionally, Vault by Vault. That lets shared work stay separate from personal, client, financial, or other files that belong in a different privacy boundary.
Siloed sovereignty
PhotonFile Vaults are independent client-side encrypted privacy boundaries. Use one Vault for a contractor drop, another for corporate finance, another for client delivery, and another for project files. Access, sharing, Vault Intake, and desktop sync stay scoped to the Vault boundary.
| Operational pain | Tresorit-style enterprise cloud | PhotonFile |
|---|---|---|
| Adding contractors | More users can mean more billing complexity. | Eligible teams run under the owner's plan. |
| Contractor visibility | Managed through shared folders and permissions. | Grant access to one isolated Vault, not the whole cloud drive. |
| Large one-off send | Storage and share workflow. | Relay or File Pass for live delivery. |
| External intake | File request or shared-folder-style workflow. | Vault Intake ingress into a Vault. |
| Local sync | Legacy cloud-folder sync model. | Sync by Vault to separate local folders or data sets. |
| Region operations | Enterprise data residency options. | Documented Account Region Move workflow. |
Tresorit remains a good fit for organizations already standardized around enterprise encrypted file sharing and conventional secure sync administration.
PhotonFile is the better fit when you want a private cloud drive with hard Vault boundaries, deliberate sharing, and collaboration that does not make team membership blanket access.
Photon Transfer moves files. Photon Vault keeps them separately, wherever your personal, client, project, or team boundaries belong.
